Recite the following Aya from Surah Suad 7 times:

وَلَقَدْ فَتَنَّا سُلَيْمَانَ وَأَلْقَيْنَا عَلَى كُرْسِيِّهِ جَسَدًا ثُمَّ أَنَابَ (Quran 38:34)

The aya talks about Hazrat Suleman (rz) who was given a kingdom where the winds and even the devils were at his command. This is a reminder to all creations how great Allah is and when HE wills He can grant His creations and their control to His loved ones. It also a reminder to all evil how weak they are under the name of Suleman a mere servant of the All Sovereign God Almighty.

Here is the translation for the Aya from 38:30 – 38:39:

  • 38:30 (Y. Ali) To David We gave Solomon (for a son),- How excellent in Our service! Ever did he turn (to Us)!

Suad

  • 38:31 (Y. Ali) Behold, there were brought before him, at eventide coursers of the highest breeding, and swift of foot;

Suad

  • 38:32 (Y. Ali) And he said, “Truly do I love the love of good, with a view to the glory of my Lord,”- until (the sun) was hidden in the veil (of night):

Suad

  • 38:33 (Y. Ali) “Bring them back to me.” then began he to pass his hand over (their) legs and their necks.

Suad

  • 38:34 (Y. Ali) And We did try Solomon: We placed on his throne a body (without life); but he did turn (to Us in true devotion):

Suad

  • 38:35 (Y. Ali) He said, “O my Lord! Forgive me, and grant me a kingdom which, (it may be), suits not another after me: for Thou art the Grantor of Bounties (without measure).

Suad

  • 38:36 (Y. Ali) Then We subjected the wind to his power, to flow gently to his order, Whithersoever he willed,-

Suad

  • 38:37 (Y. Ali) As also the evil ones, (including) every kind of builder and diver,-

Suad

  • 38:38 (Y. Ali) As also others bound together in fetters.

Suad

  • 38:39 (Y. Ali) “Such are Our Bounties: whether thou bestow them (on others) or withhold them, no account will be asked.”
